Kimberly W. Macon is a devoted wife, mother of three, and proud breast cancer survivor. In July 2020, at the age of 40, her life took an unexpected turn when she was diagnosed with Stage 2 Triple Positive Breast Cancer during her first mammogram after she discovered a lump while taking a shower. Faced with the unimaginable, Kimberly’s thoughts immediately went to her young children and the life she feared might be cut short. Determined to fight, she underwent chemotherapy, a double mastectomy, and adjuvant therapies. Today, Kimberly stands cancer-free, having embraced her battle with breast cancer as a transformative part of her journey.
Kimberly believes her experience holds a deeper purpose—one that led to the creation of the Paige Reese Foundation. “Breast cancer is more than just a diagnosis and treatment plan,” she reflects. “After ringing the bell, the ongoing journey of survivorship begins. The Paige Reese Foundation is exists to honor and support survivors as they step into this next phase of life.”
