Who We Are

We are a sisterhood forged in resilience—survivors, supporters, and storytellers who carry both the scars and the strength of the journey. With hearts full of purpose and hands ready to serve, we walk beside those facing breast cancer, offering not just resources, but real connection. Through every care package, retreat, and word of encouragement, we are building a community where healing is not just possible—but powerful.

Founded on Personal Experience

This foundation was born from our own battlefields. We’ve sat in waiting rooms, clung to faith, lost our hair, and found our voices. Our pain became purpose, and from the ashes of uncertainty, we rose with a mission to light the way for others. We don’t just understand—we’ve lived it. And because of that, we lead with tenderness, truth, and the kind of hope that only comes from surviving the storm.

Kimberly W. Macon

Founder & CEO

Kimberly Macon is a wife, mom, and now breast cancer survivor. At the age of 40, Kimberly was diagnosed with Stage 2 Triple Positive Breast Cancer in July 2020 during her first mammogram. The shock of the news rocked her world. She immediately thought of her three young children and what this diagnosis could possibly mean…not living the full life she never thought would be out of her reach. Despite all of this, Kimberly has accepted breast cancer as being part of her journey and believes that there is a purpose greater than herself that will manifest from this life altering experience. Kimberly’s treatment plan included 4.5 months of chemo therapy, a double mastectomy, and continued adjuvant therapy to lower the risk of recurrence.

Diann H. Smith a retired health care executive has a passion for making an impact on women with breast cancer. In 2008, Diann was diagnosed with breast cancer and four years later, her daughter was also diagnosed. With her first-hand experience with the illness, Diann was able to support her daughter in a truly significant way and reinforce the powerful mother-daughter bond. During her daughter’s journey they chose to forego the traditional “bucket list” and instead focused on their “living list,” because it’s all about living and pursuing one’s purpose. Diann was by her daughter’s side when she transitioned in 2017.

While this was one of the most difficult periods in Diann’s life, it strengthens her resolve to be the light of hope and strength for other women. Understanding the impact that cancer has not only on the individual diagnosed but also the effect on families and friends of cancer patients, Diann is playing an active role in helping women diagnosed with breast cancer navigate through their personal journey with hope and perseverance.

Inspiring hope
every day

At the Paige Reese Foundation, we believe hope lives in the quiet moments; in a warm touch, a kind word, a deep breath. We show up daily through care packages, healing retreats, and reminders that no one walks this path alone. Every story matters, every act of love lights the way, and even the smallest spark of hope can ignite a powerful tomorrow. Together, we are inspiring hope…every single day.
